Learning Objectives
After this lecture, you will be able to understand the role of the occlusal plane in the functional development of the stomatognathic system and its influence on mandibular movement and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) health.
After this lecture, you will be able to identify the clinical implications of an improperly inclined occlusal plane, including its effects on growth, smile aesthetics, facial profile, and masticatory function.
After this lecture, you will be able to learn biomechanical strategies using aligners and micro screws to manage and correct occlusal plane discrepancies, including canting and rotational imbalances.
